2015-latino-graduation2015 Latino Graduation

Students from across all Harvard schools came together to organize the first university-wide Latino Graduation. Undergraduates have been holding graduation dinners on and off for over a decade, but this is the first time a formal ceremony was organized that included Latino students from across the University. The masters of ceremony were Harvard Latino alumni Julio Ricardo Varela COL ‘90 and Laura Esquivel HKS ‘11 and the keynote speaker was Univision anchor Jorge Ramos, whose own daughter was also graduating from Harvard. Students and families were treated to dinner and dessert receptions that were in part sponsored by the generous contributions of our alumni community.
